HalloweenFest is a unique collage of fun from 4:30 until 7:30 each October 30th.
Oh, so much to do and see! The costumes are beyond awesome and seem to get better every year....resulting in some great prizes. Vendors make sure everyone can sample interesting snacks or even have dinner plus an opportunity to buy some unique wares. Thanks to Dean Thomas, families can have great portraits taken. And, those entering the coloring and pumpkin decorating contests can share their appreciation to Mike Stone of Evergreen Realty for providing prizes. The Hayride and Crafts plus the chance to hop aboard a sheriff's car, a fire truck, ambulance and/or trash truck are always fun activities. Visiting the merchants in the Towne Centre is sure to result in sweet treats.
The 2015 event was financially sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank and the So Cal Edison Company along with our many Foundation members and sponsors. What happiness they bring to Villa Park!
Organized year after year by extraordinary volunteers... our "Ghostess with the Mostess" Julia Peterson, along with her 'Boo Crew: of Nicole Jones, Holly von Ting, Buffie Wong, Francine Sawyer and Julie Krodel along with the wizardry of our city staff, Mike Knowles and Rich Manning. NCL Moms and Daughters are great assistants, too.... especially when it comes to making everything disappear in the night. Witches hats off to all!
